  • Brazilian Cinema

    • A critical course about the history and politics behind Brazilian Cinema. 

 

  • Social Documentary

    • A practical course for students to develop a film based on social issues surrounding their own communities. The first weeks are dedicated to analyzing ground-breaking films, relating them to history and social issues. After that initial approach, I would guide students into developing and filming their own passion projects. At the end of the course, we had a showing open to the community.

 

  • Television Series

    • A critical course about the history of Television and Media, focusing on how Fictional Series have been portraying and criticizing society throughout the previous decades to this time.

 

  • Basics of filmmaking

    • An intro course with the basics of scriptwriting, directing, cinematography, and producing.

 

  • Theory of Screenplay 1

    • A theoretical introduction to screenplay writing and the format of the screenplay.

 

  • Theory of Screenplay 2

    • A critical course dedicated to the study of existing screenplays.

  • Screenplay 3

    • A practical course where students develop loglines, treatments, and develop their ideas before writing a script. 75% of the course has a type of writer’s room approach and 25% is one on one consulting. 

 

  • Screenplay 4

    • A practical course where students develop their own script.

  • Screenplay & Storyboard for Videogames

    • A practical course for students to develop and pitch ideas for 6 different game formats.

           

  • Storytelling for Commercial Films

    • A critical course that analyses commercial films and encourages students to develop more inclusive, diverse, and creative counterparts.

  • Foundations of Communication Studies

    • A course about the theory of communications, its schools of thoughts and its reflection on media.
