I am an award-winning writer and director from Brazil. Over the last 15 years, I wrote for TV, Films, Magazines, Newspaper, Branded Content, Social Media, Academic Journals, and Books. For the last decade, I have been working as a ghostwriter creating content both in English and Portuguese for major clients in Latin America and North America.
I worked as a writer and director on popular television shows, bringing diversity to a variety of genres. I am an award-winning documentary filmmaker, the films I directed and produced were recognized by their public relevance in dealing with collective social issues.
I have a Ph.D. in Film and Television Studies and an MA in English Literature and Cinema. As a professor, I worked in three acknowledged Universities in Brazil, teaching about film, creativity, and writing. I was a visiting researcher at the University of British Columbia, in Vancouver, Canada, where I investigated the portrayal of female characters in sitcoms.
